Aloha Fish heads.I want to let you all know that I am doing fine and sure miss all of you.I live in San Clemente 1 mile from the Surf I have been here for 19 years its a great surf town I log around 8 to 10 hours a week in the surf mostley at San Onofre or Trestles I ride a 10' Dewey Weber Classic long board most of the time and I go to my shorter quiver when the surf gets big.I have two kids a boy Ron dog jr 12 and a girl Sophia Louise 6. My wife Sandy and I have been married 14 years she is seven years younger than I and understands that I need to surf alot.My son is a fair skateboarder and loves to go to the skate parks I still carve around on a long sector9 skate.I remember the long carvs down insparation point on our way to the mine. I have traveled parts of the globe in search of waves ,I traveled to Brazil and stayed for over three months and into deep Mainland Mexico and Hawaii in search of the perfect wave on my fifth trip to Hawaii I scored the perfect tube.I am very fortuate to have a good family and good friends that are very close to me.We have had some great times in P* Land together and those memories will live on for ever.Ron DoG

  2. Ron, It sounds you have a great life! But aren't you too old for surfing? Just kidding, man. Hey, have you ever tried the cold water of Santa Cruz? I surfed there a lot, but in the end couldn't handle the gremmies who stole all my waves (that's back when I was 19, 20, 21).

    Peace!

Hey man, long time no see. It's nice to hear from you and how you're doing. I love to travel too when I can, just came back from Jamaica and a trip last summer on the Mayan Riviera. Man, we did have some great, not so great and crazy times back in the day. I live in Wrightwood with my wonderful boyfriend of 8 years, have 3 kids- a 26 yr old son, a 21 yr old daughter and a 13 yr old son. My oldest son has given me 3 grandkids- 4 yr old twins and a 2 yr old girl...being grandma is hard to get used to but great fun. I was just camping in San Clemente by the railroad tracks up on the bluff. It is so beautiful, I can see why you live there. Take care, peace

by the way, I may be mistaken- but I think I took that picture of you, or maybe it was Mickey. I know I took a lot of pictures that day for the school paper, man all these old pictures bring back memories! Sharon

  5. Hey Ron Cestari, surfing on a 10' board, isnt that long- even for a long board? Anyway here are some things that always remind me of you

    wella balsam shampoo
    tequila worms
    switchblades
    the song "Lola"
the song "Walking in the sand"
    #22
    little red pick up trucks

We were all just blogging about the Phelan Days celebration wayyyy back in the day when the P*Land boys and
Fontana boys were gonna rumble and one of the things I never forgot that I think happened that day was when everyone was jumping into the aqueduct from the bridge except for me and you decided to try and push me off. I don't know how I climbed back up but I remember hitting you- man I was so mad, sorry about that. A funny memory I have is when we ran into each other at a concert at the swing auditorium, I think it was Ted Nugent...anyway you were blitzed and we were so close to the front and packed together like sardines. You were pretty much unconscious standing up next to me and he threw out a pick which I tried to catch and instead it somehow miraculously landed in the palm of your hand. I was SO gonna grab it but you opened your eyes and looked down and said "cool" or something like that and stuck it in your pocket...unreal. I have a question for you- when you make your wife a margarita do you sneak the worm into her drink too? hee-hee. Hey, do you remember the naked lady toothbrush I gave you for Christmas? Man, that was cool. peace out, Sharon
