Canadian Thanksgiving, that is. Here in Ontario, Thanksgiving is traditionally the time when cottage docks are brought in so they aren't destroyed by the ice pack of winter. And traditionally (so the jokes go), this is regarded as the raison d'ĂȘtre for son-in-laws.
Above, my father-in-law Paul and I enjoy Thanksgiving by tinkering with the family dock, sometime last fall.
