More than an hour after the Canadians won gold in men's hockey, our whole apartment complex (8 high rises, 2000+ apartments), broke out singing "O Canada" from the balconies. Hockey, as everyone knows, is a core part of Canadian culture and it was so beautiful to see this country overwhelmed with joy when this was confirmed on the international stage.Monday, March 01, 2010
