My mom noted this harmonic convergence:
At 3:20 p.m. Pacific time on Sunday...
...the temperature in Santa Cruz (where my mom lives) is 61.
...in Phelan (where my brother lives) it's 61 degrees.
...and in Toronto (were we live) it is 61!
What she doesn't know, is at this exact same time (6:20 Eastern time), I was watching Lawrence Welk's musicians on T.V. do a polka rendition of "It's a Small World After All."
Yes, it's true.

This in itself is almost creepy but I guess the real weird thing is thinking of you watching Lawrence Welk (???)or were you just trying out some senior years?
ReplyDeleteAaron ... It is NEVER 61 degrees in Toronto any more ... Canada is metric ...
ReplyDeleteas for watching Lawrence Welk ... brother - you gotta get out more !!
thanks my friend,
Thanks for your comments Mom and Rev. Shawn. For your information, Lawrence Welk is the new hip around our place. That man and his champagne orchestra really swing....
ReplyDeleteCanada is metric?? News to me...
Not to belabor the "harmonic" aspect of all of this but: Please note that my first comment was posted at 9:42 PM which is the month and year of my birth! (I know..I know..it's probably NEVER 9:42 PM in Canada..;-)
