Just in case you wondered what I was doing in high school...this was shot at my first concert, Cal Jam II in 1978. George, Calvin and I squeezed up front for Ted Nugent, Heart, and Santana. Look for us in the crowd! And CRANK IT!

I remember fearing you would be dead by a drug overdose by morning, or splatted all over the Cajon Pass. (Ted Nugent looks a little like Favio except for the racoon tail.)
ReplyDeletegreat footage! I didn't go to that one or the US festival cuz I thought they would be too crowded- looks like I was right! We did go to that one at the LA Colliseum though, the California World Music Festival with Cheap Trick and Ted Nugent. Remember we camped out on the street overnight- I think the little bros were with us that time and everyone but myself fell asleep and I had to wake you guys up for Ted, remember? I think Nugent is still the performer I have seen live the most times. We just went to see Rush, man they STILL put on a GREAT show! So, that was my third time for Rush. I also got to see Elton John's Red Piano show for my bday which was also great. So that was my third time seeing Elton. Never too old to rock n roll, right?!
