47 Degrees of Separation

My Mom (rainbow hat), her partner Irene (blue shirt) and Bones (black coat) rubbing it in down at the yacht harbour in Santa Cruz today, where it was 68F. Well, it may just be 21F here, but we don't need your stinkin' boats because we can walk right across our frozen bodies of water! You try that! :-)

Don't feel bad, Aaron. If it's any consolation, it's suposed to rain by Wednesday and temps will dip to the low 60s! Walking back from breakfast at Aldo's we saw an otter so sound asleep in the middle of the harbor we thought it was a log until it started munching on something tiny and used its tail like a rudder to keep in the shadow of a big boat..try that on your ice!

  2. So that's an otter you're holding. I thought it was a dog. Good catch!

hey Aaron, don't be hatin on us California girls...actually this one is looking out the window at a couple of inches VERY much needed snow here in the wood. But alas, the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away...it is starting to melt already. My sweetie and I did the Palm Springs tram for Valentine's day and that was cool(literally). Don't know if you've been or not but it begins at about 2000 ft and ends at about 8300 ft in alpine forest. It was snowing outside the window while we ate and was quite a romantic little getaway. Anyway...keep on "California Dreamin" old friend. P.S. Still searching for old pics and that Alva deck. peace out, Sharon
