Carrizo Plain
A friend sent this to me today, and it's so beautiful I thought, hey why not spread the love?

This photo is incredible! We drove through this area last month and took pictures but we do it at 75 miles an hour so the quality isn't quite this good! (and it's really true, the entire area is filled with Lupin, poppies and wild mustard!)
ReplyDeleteThere must be something about the light there that causes the mustard only to grow on one side of the valley. What else could it be?
ReplyDeleteWell, you know how when you're making a burger? You put mustard on one side of the bun and mayo on the other. That's just the way it's done.
ReplyDeleteWell, then, where's the beef?
ReplyDelete(You must have known I would have to ask that.)
California is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
