ohh, that hussy avian population...with the exception of crows of course who also mate for life..I was downtown Santa Cruz once and came upon a dead pigeon on the sidewalk next to a cyclone fence. Standing guard was another pigeon, (a spouse?) And despite a parade of shoes and pant legs and coattails marching back and forth that mourning pigeon didn't budge...
Alma's Soulfood WAS mainly about sharing baby pictures with scattered family and friends. But now we've obviously given this blog over to the kid as he's grown older :-)
