Yes indeed, meth is one of the worst things invented by mankind. I have seen it destroy so many lives and families. Even the people who have beat the addiction have been forever changed and have to forever live with the damage done. It truly makes me sick. One of the positive things I have seen though is a lot of children that were a product of this drug have grown up to steer clear of it and kept others from it too. Thank you SO much to people like your Wendy who give of themselves to help people in need who have hit bottom...sometimes that's all it takes is a hand up- thank you Wendy for putting your heart and hand out there for the lost souls...Sharon
Sharon, I happened to read your message just after having a really stressful sad day at work and so bless you for your encouraging words...I don't desreve them but I appreciated them and they gave me a desire to carry on when I felt overwhelmed with my work!
Wendy, I'm glad I could help when you needed a boost. I also bet you have no idea how much your work matters and how few people care enough to do that work. You have probably changed more lives than you know. So, please keep up the wonderful work you do and when you are down- know that SO many are SO thankful for people like you. Not just the addicted but their loved ones and all the people who have beaten their addictions thanks to people who care enough to help them through it. Compassion for humanity is a noble thing so THANK YOU! Peace, Sharon
Alma's Soulfood WAS mainly about sharing baby pictures with scattered family and friends. But now we've obviously given this blog over to the kid as he's grown older :-)
